A hundred years ago on December 6th, Dave Brubeck, one of the foremost exponents of cool jazz, was born in the Brubeck-Ivey home in Concord. The Concord Historical Society had hoped to celebrate his centennial with a performance by the Brubeck Brothers Quartet on the stage in the Concord Museum and Event Center where Dave, as a young man, performed.
